No doubt about #13. Dude is gone in the nugget!

You damn straight. I bought Fiona with the full intent of fightering her ass off! It will BLOW your mind what I'm going to do with this bike. After experimenting all over the place with Bonnie, I can go about this much more efficiently.

I now know exactly what I need to build to make one the baddest bikes ever.

On the flat tracking end of things.... Here's a sneak peek of some of the super trick parts Buttons is about to get.

Without the time to go into the engine, this is about the only place I can gain any 'power'. Those are from Sprocket Specialists & aren't off the shelf.

Custom built to my specs for a smaller chain. In combination with being many tooth count smaller than the stockers (but remaining in the final drive ratio area I need for the right rpms per gear on different length tracks) & made out of beer cans these will reduce reciprocating mass a whole frickin' lot.

Fiona will have to wait a minute. Buttons has to be ready for battle. This upcoming TT blowout is it. The grand finale. The big burrito.

Being the rookie, I've already done fantastic (I'm told, not sure myself, really) considering the bulldozer I'm riding.

I plan on going out with a bang. Everything goes well, I think I can get second in points. That would be INCREDIBLE.

So I'm off to my man Rock's to get some serious wrenching done. Ya'll have a good one!

Barby. The frame off KZ/GPz750 hybrid powered KZ650B pile of AWESOME.

For sale, btw....

Bonnie. Yes, the 636 dirt fighter.

Got sold to afford the 10 without financing. Later wadded & now back in my garage getting the crash damage 'accessed'.

Buttons, the flat tracker.

Pretty much gonna keep her until I send the rod into orbit. Funnest bike I've thrown a leg over. EVER.

Fiona, the new 10.

Who is currently under the knife getting converted into a dirt fighter. That's all I'm gonna say....

& no, that's NOT my cage.

There's others. Like 'Galactica' (Mom's scooter that was stolen, recovered & brought back to life again) 'two dollar whore' which caught fire & almost took the garage with it. Donated a few parts to Barby then got dumped in a pond. I swear that thing was possessed. 'Zelda' the dragbike I got from Raised & 'the death bob', my old man's Maxim 7 slowly rotting into the concrete.

Thanks man. If I had a dollar for everytime I've been told that, I'd have a wad, lemme tell ya. I tried dabbling in the writing business once or ten, total failure.

I've still got Barby. You're thinking about Cloud 9, my first KZ650....

That was years ago, I was 19 I think? She was my first real streetbike, first bike I toured on, first bike I started building.

When she got taken, that was the beginning of me losing everything. Fiance left me, on my birthday. Crashed Bonnie & woke up in the hospital. House got looted, lost thousands in firearms. Got a DUI, lost my job. Lost the house & the list goes on.

Ended up living in a camper, in a cow field, shooting turtles for rent. Really.

I honestly hope she got waded into a ball of shit. That would mean the cock sucker that took her is dead & rotting in hell.

If he's still alive, I pray someday I get the chance to exact my revenge.

I'm still looking. I have ears to the ground where I used to live. I want to saw his limbs off, gouge out his eyes so he lives the rest of his miserable life in a chair, dependant on someone to spoon feed him while he can hear them laugh at his agony.

I won't let go.

Now.

Is the time.

Also. Buttons is running superb! Set the carb back to my half mile specs. 135 main, float as high as possible & the needle back to the stock notch.

We got the sprockets on too.

Last time I was at Jeeps (1/4 mile D oval) third was a touch too low, but forth was way too high.

So I ran third, man was she wrapping tight on the straights. Had a bit of points float.

Stock gearing then was 15/45, 3.00. Now it's 12/35, 2.92 so a little higher. Hoping that keeps the rpm down enough to save the engine but still have a good pull out of 2 & 4.

So I sneak her out of town & hit my favorite dirt roads. I rung her neck like a cheap hooker. Wanted to make sure she fueled right.

I'm pretty sure that's the fastest I've been on dirt! She pulled clean into the red in top gear! I did this a few times. Only once did I get a little pop on opening the throttle so I might need to raise the needle another notch. But she's damn close. Plug looks lean right now but it's only got ten minutes running on it. I'll take her out a few more times before the TT to see if it browns up.

Sketchy thing was someone apparently needed to get rid of a bunch of gravel... So here I am with one hand on the bar WFO & all of a sudden the road gets REAL loose.

Wee!

It's one of those situations. You don't want to back out. Naw, that'd make ya a pussy.

100+ on gravel. Love it.

Yeah she was. Got her with 6600 miles from the third owner on a whim, who new the two owners before him. It was the rarest color & model spec of any of 'em I later found out. Had her tuned & tweaked a little by a local wrench who had a soft spot for the six fiddys. He made that bike run SO smooth, like a sewing machine. Something I've never been able to replicate on any vintage bike since.

Yeah, I still got all the digits. Cops won't help me a bit. Realistically speaking I figure I'll never find the bastard. I still remember a distinct feature that bike has that no other Kz650 has. It sucks. I busted my ass for that bike.

Anyways, that's the past.

Here's Fiona right now.

Now I've got something to work on!

Thanks man. This should be pretty simple, but that's what I always say right?

Lol, yeah it's a joke (like gluing a Canada sticker on your bike) my lady friend is a come around, disappear kinda dealio. Just got to wait for the pendulum to swing back my way, nothing to worry about.

Like riding a bull... You know what you're getting yourself into & it's about the dumbest damned idea ya got. Ain't gonna last long & it might hurt like a mother but shit, while it lasts it's fun as hell!
