Cali/WSBK Trip

Hey everyone,
Since time is flying I figured id ask now and get a good idea on what to do. One of my dream vacation spot is California. I have never been there before and it's something I want to do soon. Round 9 of WSBK is at Laguna Seca, this would be prime time to go. Does anyone that live in Cali or have been to Cali have any recommendation on hotels maybe airbnb? My plan is to go out there July 1-10. I would like to visit LA and San Franciso, generally southern California. I know it would be a lot of traveling for a short period of time but im ok with that. Also, would like to rent a bike for the week, thought about riding there but that's a little too much for a short period of time. It'll cost a lot of money for sure but eff it. All opinions are welcome! Thanks

That sounds like an awesome trip!! I may try to convince wifey to make it with me being that were both off every summer.

If you come for WSBK I would spend like 2-3 nights in Monterey! Friday and Saturday are THE best days to be in Monterey during and after the racing! Laguna Seca is full of fun with the people and booths and bikes to see! Then once the racing is done all the bikes head to Cannery Row in Monterey, Friday is fun for this but Saturday is Bike Night. All of Cannery Row gets Closed down except for bikers. It's a lot of fun! Oh and last but not least Sunday is the races haha

Went last year and it was sick! Going again this year for sure. Airbnb is the best deal in the area and they will usually be off the main roads a bit.

We were 10 mins from the track.
