Not sure how cost effective it would be for me, as I am only a few hours away -- I could probably ride there and use my own bike for less.

I do think that someone who opens a business like this, needs to be supported in that effort. Takes stones, to put yourself and your livelihood out there like that.

Looking at the fleet of vehicles involved, there's a significant outlay just in the purchase and maintenance of the fleet(!). Lots of bikes I'd like to ride, if even for a couple of hours each.

The requirements to rent seem reasonable-- I didn't download the forms for serious review; I also didn't see if riding apparel was included in the rental fee -- that would make it far more desirable; if someone were to fly in, packing along all of your riding gear is a pretty big lump of luggage.

What's the nearest airport? How is transport from the airport to the rental site accomplished? Is there a plan in place to get people back to the airport at the end of the rental?

RJ, Thanks for the thoughtful comments.

We Rent Gear for a minimal charge. We aslo have tank bags, soft saddlebags, etc, as well as working out some discounts for people who want to make desirable area trips.. Deals gap or all the way up the Blue Ridge Parkway.

As far as the Airport, pickup and delivery to the airport is free, and the charges are reasonable if we deliver to Gatlinburg, Pigeon forge etc (People on vacation who want a bike for a couple of days).

Yes, it's a heck of a step, but we like riders and meeting new ones, and facilitating riders having a great time, so it just sems natural.

If you're ever in the area, give us a shout, and we'll show you around and have a cold one (after the riding).
