Scrub Turkey see off Goanna

Here's a good one. 4 foot goanna turns up at my place near the scrub. The wandering scrub turkeys that drift around the yard quickly hounded him off. Off he scuttled with a couple of Turkeys in pursuit

we have a few goanna's that reside at the work village... they sure have the upper hand on anyone out here... and they sure love the smell of the BBQ!

Well maybe the turkeys were giving him a hurry up because goannas raid turkey nests for the eggs. Its been a bit dry here until the Xmas period and no tucker around. Lorikeets possums and white cockatoos raid the mango tree during the day and night and the turkeys eat whatever's left over on the ground.
