I've been thinking about it for a couple of years then decided I'm going to the GP this year.... Fly from Sydney ....Nah I'm going to ride

Anyone else planning on going this year? Any of you Sydney/NSW dudes going to ride down?

I rode down last year from Sydney.
It *could* have been awesome, but the g/f was having one of those PMS weeks.

OMG! NEVER AGAIN!

next time it's a "lone wolf" adventure for me.

still not sure if I'm going to do it this year.

Anyway Im riding syd to Canberra tuesday arvo. Canberra cooma then Seymour second day then through Yea to the island on Thursday.

Camping trackside...

Then back up the freeway Monday/Tuesday.

Happy to share the road if anyone wants to tag along.

Canberra to Cooma has some sweet road are you going through Bega / Brown Mountain / Merimbula / Tura?

Everytime I drive to Mum and Dad's place at Tura I wish I was on my bike coming down Brown Mtn (Well except in the middle of winter and black ice!)

Should be able to meet you in yea and ride to the island with you.. Will know for sure at a closer date.. Are you putting the lambs wool seat cover on so your butt does kill? Can stop in at my place for a rest if you like as well cos it is on the way..

Just heard on the radio that stonner has a bad neck and might miss all the races till the island gp!!! Dam and he is doing so great as well

I don't do the pillion thing on my beloved old bike LOL!
The G/F was riding her Honda litre bike.
I still cringe when I think of that little adventure.

Rented a house big enough for about 12 - 15 people only 3km from the track.
It would've been awesome if her disposition been better on that week.

We don't really ride together after that anymore
