Question for the track riders/racers in Aus... Where are you getting your race fairings from? Are the couple of local guys i can find (e.g. doctor glass) any good, or is it better to just order from the US?

Thanks mate, hadn't even heard of them before, and they didn't come up in my searches... Still have no feel for if the stuff they sell is any good though...

Yeah I mentioned doctor glass in my first post. I just can't seem to get a good feel for whether their (or any of the local) stuff is any good. I've had a couple of bad experiences now with plastics (ebay based, ful kits and individual parts), so I'm a bit reluctant to have a third. Stuff I've seen from the US has a fair bit of information, video reviews/fittings etc, but I can't find the same info about the local stuff... Shipping on this stuff is massive though, quoted $320 for a race set, which brings the US prices back into line with Aus prices unfortunately.

WET4U Makes top stuff, lots of people use his fairings in Sydney. Wet4U Racing & The Fairing Factory
Bit more pricey but its top stuff
I'm sure WET4U is a member of ksrc-au as well. I'm sure he's also on NSWRATS
MSRC In Caringbah Sydney, They supply Pro fiber Fibreglass (Its whats on my 08)
Simon Adams runs this shop. They painted and fitted my fairings for me, and they are top blokes! They have a facebook page too. MSRC | Facebook MSRC - Motorcycle Smash Repair Centre PRO-FIBER-Racing Solution-Welcome
They also sell track bikes out of their shop.
There is also Racers Edge which make good stuff too. Home |

Arlo, any issues with the fit of the pro fiber stuff (I see you got it fitted for you, but did they give any feedback on it?)
Thanks for the links, some guys I hadn't seen before.

LP | The fairings aren't 100% fantastic, if you wanted showroom quality finish they need decent prep. But the guys did the whole lot for me. But fitted and painted was decent (I can't recall the $$$ spent on getting it done sorry but probably changed since exchange has as well and they import the glass)
They also do Chinese glass too which wasn't as thick so unsure of the durability.
The issue with my bike was that the clock stand on the front of the bike has been repaired so its not 100% and caused a little crack in the front upper.
Everything else is okay.
My bike also has standard cat on it, and its scorched the fiber glass.

Well, i've bitten the bullet and put an order in... I don't need show room quality finish, so I should be ok there... Might try and do a step by step/get some pictures and throw them up here if anyone's interested...

(And if they're no good it's only money right!?)
