hey guys just wondering if any1 has idea if i remove the cat and weld a pipe from slip on to the pipe, would it be to loud and get EPA'd, i know silly question, have had afew mates tell me that most likly ill get the EPA but not sure, thought i would post you guys and get some other opinions the slip on i have atm is AKRA.

I think you're talking about the pre-muffler. The CAT on our bikes are in the headers. You COULD remove the pre-muffler and fashion a mid pipe in there if your Akra goes onto the pre-muffler.
My Muzzy removed the pre-chamber completely. But I know some other pipes didn't.

yer ill post one up later on 2night cant put attachments on the work computers :$ but yer its just under the case cover at the end of the exhaust, where the slip-on meets the fairing, if you know what i mean :$

yer thats what i was thinking but mate said if i get the EPA then have to chop it off weld the cat back on, pass the EPA and chop and weld again, just wondering what the chances are of a EPA here in melbourne, not to sure how much loader it would make it, you got any ideas? and yer security guard bro  i work all the stupid hours and days

It would just slip on and off if you find a link pipe.. EPA dont really bother with bikes.. My wifes cuz in shepp got picked up on his tripple a month ago and he has a full race system.. sounds great too
Cant see it being a prob..

If he makes his living working on motorcycles he should have known this as the bike has been around for 3 years now.. hahaha.
Or just learn how to do everything yourself and save the headache of some idiot jackin' up your bike. |
