Hi guys,
I know i've not been round much, sadly been busy.
Just a quick post about BCC's great decision to screw the local biker community over by removing bike parking in the CBD and by hitting everyone with parking tickets to run us out of the city!!!
I've started up my own forums to try and get a decent sized group together to take on city council, please pass it along to anyone you know who parks in the city. Bike Parking Forum
Many thanks
Josh

Hey Rayz, I don't get what your personal issues with immigrants in Sydney has to do with BCC deciding to remove the bike parking?
We live in one of the most culturally diverse countries in the world and if you don't like it, leave.
And Josh, get onto "can-do-campbell" and make some noise. It's not right

WTF has any of your posts in this thread got to do with parking in Brisbane Rayz?
That's it I'm pulling them.
If you want to talk about immigration policy, start another thread. But you make it come across as racist, I'll pull it too.

We're lucky down here, we've still got footpath parking.
Every now and again there's talk of banning it, but nothing's happened so far. Once there was a big rally and a bunch of bikes got into the city early and took one parking spot per bike. When the cages got in they were pissed, all of a sudden a few bikes on the footpath wasn't so bad after all, and there are guidelines to follow, don't obstruct pedestrians, don't obscruct car doors, don't ride on the footpath etc.

I wish we had footpath parking |

I wish we had footpath parking | Only on one road that's not opened yet. (I don't think it's open, and it might be years before I use it). The existing tollways are still free for motorbikes.
