Aussies considering an M4 GP slip on?

Hey all,

Thought I'd try the M4 on my 636 but it's just too loud for me to live with. That being said, it does sound awesome on acceleration and deceleration, and it looks SO much better than the stock can.
I fit it to the bike one day, tried it with all the baffle combinations and then removed it the following day.

So if anyone was thinking of buying one for their '09 -'13 ZX6R anyhow, have a chat to me first. This exhaust cost $464 delivered from Mototmummy, feel free to make a fair offer if interested.

I have the slip-on with the standard baffle and the stage 2 baffle and am located in Melbourne, so that's why I posted it here and not the classifieds section. (Sorry mods if this is wrong)

Cheers.

Just one thing, there is a fine scratch on the end cap that happened when it was being unpacked...

Lol, I run my Akropovic full system with no baffle! I just have to hold the clutch in when I'm around cop cars or the EPA! I was following an ambulance a while back so that I could easily cut through traffic and I couldn't hear the ambulance sirens! Just my exhaust...

Who knows, if it stays hanging around here long enough, I may be tempted to give it another chance. Doesn't take long to fit it.

Pipes save lives Kaza! I've never actually been pulled over or had any issues due to exhaust sounds. I guess even cops can't argue with safety logic!

Kaza, I still have that lovely Yoshi RS4 slip-on....

ZX6r2013AU, your bike is pretty loud mate, I ride with ear plugs and could still hear your bike lol. Nice looking system though.
Baffle in the Akra for me, I like it quiet & quick

Like the full carbon slip on! It looks the business and your baffle made a massive difference! I don't think you'd have a problem even if the actual EPA pulled you over! Sound nice and aggressive but just not overly loud!

I was going to get the m4 or the graves but after seeing this post I'm glad I ordered the mgp growler. I like loud but having to wear ear plugs is just to loud

So was just wondering.
If we buy say a Full System Exhaust from America, would it fit and work on a bike bought here in Australia?

Hi Valenc,
Welcome to the forum.
What year ZX6 are you buying for? What type of riding?
You can buy a full exhaust system from the US, but you could possibly have to pay import duty. Another member here (ZX6r2013AU) was charged an absurd amount with import duties, not certain if he saved much.

Yah there with some details ZX6r2013AU?
