buying a zx6r to turn into a stunt bike

I'm buying a pretty cheap 2002 636 for 30,000kms but it needs a new gear shifter and pedal. What does this mean? Where is the go to place for kawasaki parts and especially 2002 zx6r 636 parts haha, thanks!

2002? I would push it off a cliff and get a new one.

Man, there would be no old bikes left if it was up to you.

The good news for you is, stunting it is the equivalent of pushing it off a cliff so...

For a stunt bike I'd personally check eBay first.

After I'd go to either Bike Bandit or partzilla.

You're going to want to look into getting a EFI bike, Hell you can find stunt bikes for 2500-3500$ with title ready for stunting.

2014 Yamaha R1
2003 Kawasaki ZX6R
2004 Honda XR650l

I would go ask around on some of the stunt forums.
Stunt Bike & Motorcycle Stunt Forums - Stuntlife.com

Stuntride Motorcycle Stunt Forums

I don't know anything about stunting, nor about the quality of these forums, but I would do as much research as possible before making a bike purchase.

Stuntride is pretty much dead. Everyone moved to Facebook. I don't have Facebook. That's why I'm here lol

I'm not going to be doing the stunting as a social thing it's just personal development of skills so I don't mind if it's dead. But I do care about places I can buy parts from so I hope they aren't dead.
hahah well I've got facebook but I'll hang around here too, how's your 636 for you? Now before you all flame me the reason I wanted to get a a zx6r 636 2002 is because nearly all the stunt videos I've watched have been 636's and they look pretty dope and I've got some nice ideas. The bike I'm looking at is $1600 and just needs the new gear shift lever and I don't need the fairings which it doesn't come with.

Thanks for the replies, to the guy who said I should push it off a cliff? why would you ever?

Why can't you stunt on a carb bike? I have zero knowledge about the stunt scene.

You can from what I've just read up on it makes no difference, just different maintenance levels but riding is the same
