I've discovered that I have milky oil (in the oil cap it looks a bit like off icecream) i've been told that it is from condensation. My question is should I take it for a long ride to see if it clears it up, or should I dump the oil first replace and then take for long ride to clean up the remainder? Also what is the best coolant and mix ratio for a top up of my radiator?

If its in the glass window, its condensation, but if the oil itself looks milky, i'd say it's a headgasket problem

its only in the window and on the lid of the oil plug - not in the oil and the bike has been running fine - not using any more fluids than normal.

take it for a long ride mate, my bike gets it as well on lots of short trips to work in the winter time..+1 on condensation
