2005 ZX636 Branded Title - Rebuild Project

Hey guys, since I am beginning to motovlog I have also decided that I will film the rebuild, intending to be informative and hopefully entertaining! I thought I'd start my own thread to track the progress and to show the before and after. Here we go!

These are the pictures the seller first sent me after I saw a comment on Facebook about a bike being sold and messaged him. It was originally being built to stunt, and he had painted over the original paint job. Did a VIN check and it didn't show up stolen. Ended up buying it for $2300.

I did a coolant flush, then the original radiator bracket broke so I installed a new one. I forgot to buy the stay that holds the bottom of the radiator back from the tire, and the wheel hit the radiator and sprung a leak. I am waiting for blue coolant pipes to be shipped currently before I install the new radiator.

I bought a new radiator on ebay. ***ebay was better compared to the $870 that kawasakiparthouse wants for an OEM radiator.

I am currently waiting for these blue coolant pipes to come in before I do the new radiator install and coolant flush.

I bought my hardware for the radiator from kawasakiparthouse, where shipping $10 on a $20 order.

I also have a blue front brake fluid reservoir to install at the same time that I install my blue steel braided brake lines.

I dropped my bike very softly in the garage when it was icy and the bracket where the brake lever connects snapped, so I bought a set of new rearsets.

The white injection molded fairings that I purchased will not be installed for another week or two until the blue fairing bolt kit comes in.

I will be posting videos on YouTube following the progress as well as recording it here. I will update later with what I plan on doing from here on out.
Strider and Indy like this.

How are your fork seals holding up? I've never seen a bike strapped down that hard to a trailer. I blew one of mine doing that... Not fun.

Relax...
