I heard about that, I wish they'd do that in my state. If I end up waiting for several minutes I will just go

One night when it was really late, like midnight, I actually put my bike in neutral, put the kickstand down and walked over to the crosswalk button to make the light change haha

I always thought motorcycles were allowed to do that anyway. I know I've done it a couple times, guess I'm lucky a cop wasn't around |

Just a heads up, they have had a similar law in MN for years and police are often unaware of it. I got pulled over for running a red after waiting three light cycles for it to change. The officer had never heard of the law and didn't let me off until he verified it.

I don't need no stinking law to allow me to do that
Actually, Virginia recently passed a similar law. It's funny, because it states something like "...with no oncoming traffic a cyclist is permitted to proceed..." Well, hell! Even before the law, if the light didn't change and no one was around- Zoooooom!
