I've ridden in the rain on my 250 but only as a commute and I think it takes the fun away (have to be more cautious, etc)

Also have ridden in cold weather but I also have a ton of gear. Would never do it unless I had the proper layers on.

Your dad may be onto something here.

Stupid people say stupid things on the internet, so be wary of who those people are. If you solicit advice on the internet, just keep in mind 99% of what you'll receive is not based on fact or science-and likely atleast 95% of it is based on bullshit and bravado regurgitated from some other schlub who also did not experience any of what they claim and are also full of shit. If you don't like my bluntness- too bad. I am not here to please you, so move along, your approval is not desired nor is it needed. So before opening your pie hole and adding more stupidity, perhaps sit back, listen, absorb and learn something. You know that saying, it is better to remain silent and thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt!

Was that you that went by on 33 yesterday?? I thought it was a zx. I'd come for sure, but I need to make sure I can get some car work done first. If I can be there, I'll be there.

If you can make it you can make it. Sounds like a decent size group so far.

Wisconsin?

What ride that was! I cut out early for those of you who weren't there, but had a blast with the fellas. 2 army dudes, one with the zx and one with the r6, a local guy with a stretched cbr 1000, his friend with a turbo pimp busa, and an older Gentleman who used to do some racing, and has the new cbr 1000. That dude hung a wheelie till 150mph! I'd ride with that legend any day.

All in all a good time. I kept up front pretty well, for only being at half throttle (freakin clutch is almost gone now), and had the bugs bustin the helmet. Here's a pic of the damage lol.

Just curious who is all attending the AMA races at Road America? Looking to try and set up a few meeting locations so we can all ride in together.

I will be attending Sunday only as im going on a charity ride to Madison on Saturday.
