I'm from Grand Rapids and haven't made it out yet.

Hopefully this weekend.

Cager #1 - Dafaq was that?

Cager #2 - I dunno, that couldn't have been a motorcycle.

Cager #1 - You sure?

Cager #2- If it was a motorcycle, that guy is friggin nutz!

Cager #1 - Or he's really, really, really, really, dedicated!

Pretty sure someone who posted in this thread was from that area...don't remember who tho. You should plan to join us for our mid-michigan ride/meet-up later this summer!

I live about 20 minutes west of Cedar Point and have managed close to 100 miles on my nighthawk. For those of you that can manage having a second bike I totally suggest getting something cheaper without fairing and chrome for this time of year. Even if you do get some salt the bike is easy to hose off. Most of the miles ridden this year have been below 45° - riding is my "therapy".

That's awesome! That's what I'm hoping to be able to do by next year - I'd like to buy something that I can build up as a streetfighter, maybe even throw a cage on it and ride it whenever I feel like it regardless of the conditions

Went out for my first good ride today! Spent about an hour following the Grand River on some decent roads - still really sandy and salty out there tho
