I'm decided to get something I'm more familiar with (being partial to Suzuki's) so I'v decide to put up my track bike for sale. This would be a great starter track bike for someone looking to get their feet wet. Bike has a Ohio salvage title, pazzo levers, Two Brothers slipon, carbone lorraine brake pads with 4-5 track days on them, new chain and rear +1 sprocket, all stock suspension, new Q2's were installed at the start of last season and have plenty of life left. Mileage is not exactly know but I remember being told when I bought it that it had maybe 6000 miles on it (?). Gauges say more as they were replaced. I'm also including a new -1 front sprocket (if you think you can get it off to replace it).
I rode it all last year and it gave me absolutely no problems at all and ran strong. I ran 1:50-1:53 at Mid-O and 1:11-14 at Beaver with it in I/O groups.
I'm asking $3400 (PRICE DROP). I can also help with deliver anywhere between Cleveland, OH, Columbus, OH and Cincinnati, OH.
You can PM me, and I'll get back to you or call me at (four four zero)773-six zero zero one.

Just a little info to help complete sprocket kit and sell it....or possibly for the next owner....
My '07 front sprocket nut was pain as well. I let some penetrating oil soak in for a couple of days. Grabbed a cheap electric impact wrench from Harbor Freight ($40) and a small blow torch from HF as well.
I heated up the nut a little bit with the torch (be mindful of wires close by) and went to town on it with the impact wrench. After a couple of minutes it started to spin off. Victory!!!
BTW, use a deep 27mm impact socket (no extensions). You get much better grip on that part of the nut than with the 32mm part. This job CAN be done
Wrap everything up and take it back to Harbor Freight to get your money back |

Thanks for the replies.

it took me ages to get the front sprocket off my 2010 ZX6R in the end i had to grind the shoulders off an extended 32mm socket so it would grip the back of the sprocket nut then i put a long breaker bar on it got my dad to sit on the bike in gear with both breaks on and stamp on the breaker bar, the sharp jolt undone the nut, ive heard Kawasaki use a real strong thread lock type glue on the these and with the 90ft-lb of torque it makes this job nearly impossible but not quite for the persistent members amongst us lol

I just put the bike on the swingarm stand, start it, shift into 6th gear and run it up to the rev limiter. Then I stick a breaker bar into the rear sprocket which immediately stops the wheel from spinning and the nut spins right off the front sprocket.

Well, the need to sell this bike has become a little more urgent due to some vehicle issues today.
So, TTT.

Wish I could, I need it sold as a whole as soon as possible. My SS is sitting in the shop with a bad trans in it. I think the price is fair and I can negotiate some.

Your price isn't bad at all... the economy is what's bad. I just let two R6's go that were fully race prepped w/Ohlins/Penske/QS/PCIII/Built motor/etc. for cheap.
Good luck w/the sale and a free bump to go with it. However, if you do decide otherwise, keep me in mind |
