05-06 Vortex adjustable rear sets $100

i have a damaged pair of rear sets for zx-6r i was involved in a minor accident my sliders took the majority of the hit. The shifting side works perfect but the brake side lever is bent. I called vortex and they sell the part for $55. So you will end up with vortex sets for only $155. I was going to keep these as a spare set but i have to change the head gasket from my bike, so im going to use this money towards labor now. I will also include the shift rod and all the bolts pictured. I just found out these will fit from 05-08 zx6r's.

shift side

brake side

If you are crafty you can easily bend the lever to make it straight again.
(sorry about the huge pictures)

Smile Awaiting PayPal address :-)

Assuming shipping is $15, consider them sold to me :-)
Thanks again sir!
I did call Vortex about 15 mins ago to price the brake control arm (or whatever they call that bent arm in your image) and because the foot peg mount size has changed from an 18 (mm?) size to a 17, I'll also have to purchase a foot peg to fit through that new control arm as they don't carry the older larger diameter control arms.
The control arm is listed at $66, the peg is $23. Still, $100 + $89 is an okay deal.
Thanks again!

Crap, If I didn't locktite my new ones on already I would of tried it out to just double check. The new pegs are built a little cheaper than my old set the new ones have a plastic cap instead of a rounded metal end. Thanx for the info though I'll pm you so I can get your PayPal info to write u up an invoice.

I'm also pretty sure if you heat it up you can mostlikely bend it back. try that first before ordering a new lever.

Smile No sweat

No worries on the parts. Yes I wondered if the newer footpegs being hollowed out would cause them to bend/snap easier in a fall. Oh well, if I have to order the replacement part I will. I will mount it on my bike and try heating the aluminum a bit prior to trying to bend it straighter again.
I don't expect it'll be perfectly straight, that's fine. I also don't want to risk messing up the bearing inside the arm where the footpeg slides through though, so I'll hopefully not have to order the control arm + peg.
Thanks again.

No you can't. Aluminum doesn't work that way with heat. You may be able to bend it back cold, but you have to be careful to watch for signs of cracking.
