Up for sale is a techtronics stand alone quickshifter. Model QSLU2 it has a adjustable shift sensor.
Shift rod will work on any bike rod between 100mm and 120mm. Came off my 06 636
I am asking $160 shipped.

(I was to lazy to take it off the shifter peg)

Still for sale you wind find one anywhere for this cheap!

Will it work on a J model? What is necessary to hook it up? Just RPM signal and ignition cut signal?

The QS2 system is wired to either break the positive power supply for the fuel injection system or the ignition coils for all bikes with 12 volt transistorized ignitions. All the hardware is in the pictures above comes with the adjustable shifter, wiring, and control box . Not entirely sure about the j model if it could be wired it should

yeah, did a bit of reading on them a little bit ago.

Seems like these kits generally sell for around $200 or so used.

Found one on a yamaha track forum for 180
