Monday is supposed to be 75. How about it? I'm going to ride regardless but it would be nice to meet others!

So far it has been nothing short of amazing. Loving it. On it every chance I get - to the point where my wife thinks I'm retarded. It's my first Kawasaki, but won't be my last.

Did anyone go on that toys for tots ride on the 7th in Columbia? I was just out for a random ride when all of a sudden there were 4k bikes (according to a biker I spoke to at the gas station). It had just finished so people were splitting up but holy crap. It was intense to run into out of the blue!

I'm near Easley (upstate SC) and ride most every nice Sunday. Regular meet up is @ 8:30 or 9 AM @ Dacusville Pizza Stop on 135. We go up 135 to 8 to 288 to Holly Springs (178 & 11). Then up 178 to Rosman, then we switch what we do from there. Either Pkwy via 64 then 215 or we'll sometimes turn off of 215 at PARI sign and go to 281 (very nice road). We're going to be at the dragon on the 2nd thru 5th of Aug (meeting other zx6r folks there).
We've most recently started to go to bike night in Greenville but tonight its raining. So we're out. :-)

Thanks,
Coop

I'll be in Columbia for college starting mid August.

Any route recommendations?

Edit: Not sure where all you guys are in relation to Columbia, but it would be fun to meet up at some point.

Route recommends in what area? I know the mountains pretty well (western NC mostly), but not roads outside of the upstate itself. Takes a little more than 1.5 hours to get up here from Columbia. Well, depends on how fast ya go. :-) But if you come up 385 to toll road to 153, then you can come up 123 to 135 and then on to the pizza stop. That's how you can get to where we are if you want to ride out with us in the mountains.

If you want to ride, do NOT come to Charleston. We have nothing but flat straight roads.
