I'm in west TN, If I hop on the Interstate & haul ass(90-100) I can be there
in about 7-8 hours. But I refuse to do that(Interstate) back roads for me,
So it usually takes me 10-12 hours.
I'm planing a trip in early Jun/2nd, 3rd, 4th, & the 5th would be good,
Also the 8th, 9th, 10th, & 11th would be good.
Id rather do most of my riding on weekdays (avoid cops & traffic)
But you want to be there on at least one Saturday to experience the scene

Well those are not hard dates, any variation of would do.
The thing about weekends is just to stay off the Dragon or take it easy.
Most weekends your forced to do that anyway do to the amount of traffic.
Summer weekends are crazy there with all the bikes, Cruisers, sports cars etc
Its fun to just set & watch the wild life(& were not talkin birds)
What I usually do on weekends is enjoy the people & bikes, When I want to ride
I ride some of the other great roads in the area.

im right here in east tenn about an hour or so away. the dragon is way too crowded to enjoy on the weekends. A chill spot on a saturday would be ideal to just hangout out and do w/e. the weeks are better to ride. If a mass message is sent out im sure a majority of ppl on the site can show up and meet there. im down for whenever.

I would love to go up there. I'm about 2-3 hours away and a friend of mine and I are wanting to go. We are less experienced riders, so cruising around would be our thing, but would love to watch some knee draggers out there. When is the best time to go as far as weather, temperature, traffic and what not?
