Good or Bad Winter...

Riding at the end of January in New York... what is going on?! Hopefully this winter is officially 2 weeks long, I'm not putting my bike for sure until we have a blizzard.

I never put mine away.. too many random warm days for that to happen. I have been loving how "mild" this winter has been so far though. I really hope we make it through the next couple of months on the same note.

I rode mine to work Tuesday as a test ride to make sure all was well after the maintenance/mods I did. Froze my damn fingers off in the morn & after work. It was supposed to get up to 42 after work but pretty much stayed 34 all day. Wanted to ride Monday when it reached 60 but it rained all day. Guess i'll take rain & cold over snow. With snow you gotta wait for the rain to wash the damn salt away.

i try to ride all year long. Granted, we have those freak days every couple of weeks where it is 60. But layering right and wearing a scarf i can ride to work when its 35+ as long as the wind stays down in the god forsaken state haha.
