Atlanta Rider (Free Peach pass)

For those who either live in the north west area (gwinnett ish), or just travel on 85 a lot (above the spaghetti junction). You can get a peach pass free.

I always saw the lane, and was told we are exempt but there is a process to go thru it. Was riding home the other night and wasn't in the lane. I was stuck in traffic and thought...this is bogus. Saw another rider go thru the lane so I jumped in (i may get a letter about this )

After some google searching and contacted someone in the toll department. You just go to your DMV, they have a peach pass table. Give them your info (address, name, make, model, color, plate#). They give you a peach pass on the spot free. You can put it on your windshield, keep it on you, on the bike somewhere. I told her I'd put it under my seat. She said it can read it as long as you have it on you.

Felt good today. Was coming home from downtown about 1hr and change ago. Traffic was pretty thick, but not in the peach pass lane. Saw a Busa stuck in traffic. I think he eventually jumped in the lane cause he caught up to me about 5 exits later!

Just figured I'd pass this info along. Not sure if this is applicable for GA400 but I'm looking into that.

Dude! Good info! Thanks for sharing! 400 would be useful. I hate having to fish coins out of my jacket with gloves on.

It saved me 30 min easy today. That's just the first day of having it!

If GA adopting lane splitting like cali then maybe we wouldn't have to worry about this, but that may never happen

When I lived off 400 it was always a pain. Sometimes pulling over to get the coins. Sometimes ahead of time putting a dollar bill in my glove. It was a hassle.

I did notice many times a lot of coins on the ground. Would have never seen that if I was in a car.lol

if lane splitting was legal, I would worry about the idiots who dont pay attention to try to switch lanes without looking and you were there or just assholes who want to push you out of the lane into another car
