What's up everyone. Anyone near Queens or long Island have an m4 or Comp werkes exhaust on their zx6r so I can hear it then head out for a ride? Trying to get mine this weekend but still undecided on which one and hearing any in person would greatly help. Also meet new people to ride with.

Bear isn't even that great really.. I've taken the ride up a few times and while it's fun, it's not as great as people hype it up to be. There's always those ass hats who think they are gods and rip around those roads going over the lines, flying past others, cutting cars off. It's rather pathetic. That and every time I've been there, it seems like there's a fairly bad accident, last one I saw was car vs bike because the idiot on a bike couldn't stay in his lane around a bend. Guess who won.

And that my friend is because you don't know the backroads around bear Mtn

Everyone thinks Bear Mtn is "Perkins" or "Anvil Circle"....just saying. There are lots of roads I have seen 1 to zero motorcycles on...

While Perkins is a nice view, and over the bridge is also nice I agree the traffic flow kills it, plus a bunch of idiots who think they are on the track...

Just saying...theres more

Edit: I know in PA everyone loves "Hawks Nest" which is shorter then a football field

Ha yeah, hawks nest is a joke. I couldn't believe the time I wasted getting there just to ride that little stretch. I much prefer riding through the Pocono mountains or out in central PA north of State College there's some really nice roads rarely traveled. Although it's so secluded that you don't get cell service out there for miles so that's a hazard in itself if something were to ever happen.

Hawks nest is a joke but there are great roads that put Hawks nest to shame with in 5 minutes of it....anyone out that way should take Deckertown turnpike to get out there, prob one of the best 8-10 miles of empty twisties in nj before hitting pa

Yeah Hawks nest was a bummer. I thought I missed something I'm tired of riding up by bear mtn too. If any of you more local guys know some good roads, please share . I mean PLEASE!

I'm open to riding in the poconos area. If you guys would post up some of your roads

<This guy would appreciate it.

PS. I like these little face things.
