How is this Hwy 52 through Fort Mountain State Park area that I am seeing on the map?

Not a bad ride either. You also want to try Burnt Mnt, runs basically between Jasper & Dawsonville area

Hwy 129 portion is great too, but ride from 60 (Dahlonega side) up to Hwy 180, mostly up hill, lots of long sweepers. 348 is RRP
Our ride usually starts heading up Hwy 400 from Alpharetta to Dahlonega & then 60 to 129, 348. Stop where 348 "T"s into 75, turn around & head back over to 180 (Wolf Pen Gap). Two Wheels of Suches is at 180/60, great place to eat & relax. You can then head 60 towards Blue Ridge.

Cool. Good intel. The weather is poor right now, as I'm sure you all know, but I think I'm going to be itching to stretch my legs once things clear up.
