Yes I have. I've been down it many times, not in awhile though. I usually ride on Sunday with a few other guys. Our usual route is around some backroads here down to Tennessee then hit 79 and ride Piney Campground road back to the Trace and that back home. I would be up for meeting for a ride, there is a three day weekend coming up

Do any of you have information on a road called 411 or 421 right outside if Bristol? I have heard good things but havent had time to check it out during any of the trips down there this summer?

If its the road I'm thinking of, It runs northwest to southeast & is just south or southeast
of Bristol. The road I'm thinking of gos on into Western VA.

US 421 goes into West Va (not the state). KY, VA, TN, NC. I have only been on the part around Winston Salem, so nothing to report.

Hang onto that bike long enough & you got a riding partner.

When I get my tires sorted & the weather & time allows,
I might get over that way. Been a few years since I was in Columbia, But i know there are some
good roads in & around there. Meantime you could scout them out for us.

The new, new rear should be here tomorrow. its the same tire as yours.
& I'm going to remount the front as it feels funny @ 80mph & up.
Its new, but the balance must be off. The guy that i take em to let his help mount this tire
& he did not get the stem dot lined up with the stem, Maybe that's all it is.??
Anyway I'm taking it back to the shop to have it checked out.
I run "Dynabeads", So we'll need to break it down to get them out.
Remount it(in the fight spot) & put it on the balancer.
