Cell phone mount?

Just wondering if anyone uses a mount for their cell phone while riding. I was looking at suction cup mounts, since there isn't room for a handle bar mount.

I don't want to get one that will send my phone flying down the road behind me, so which one do you guys use?

Ram mount stem mount. Superb bit of kit, I use it everyday and it never ever gives me any worries.

Two go-pro mounts back to back. One stuck to a spare otter box, other to tank. I used a para cord lanyard with it as well.

Now I have a tank bag.

I have set up my Otter Box holster for my iPhone on my triple with an elastic Velcro strap and clipped the Otter Box onto the Velcro strap. Nice and secure and cheap.

But if you want something perfect and secure, the Ram Mount is the way to go.

Moto-D Sportbike Motorcycle Camera Mount - Sport Bike Track Gear

Its designed more for camera mounting behind the windshield, but there is plenty of space for a phone. The only downside is it makes accessing the key more difficult, especially with the thumbscrew provided with the kit. I ended up mounting the camera with a screw instead as I have a Sony Action Camera and I just leave the waterproof case attached to the mount and remove the camera from the case. Its still slightly in the way though, but won't hit the thumbscrew while inserting or removing the key. If your not too OCD, you could clock the to the right a bit and get some more clearance. Mine is on a 2015 ZX6R. Not sure about clearance with other bikes.

I use my tank bag in placing and storing my phone I feel more safe. I have tried using cell phone mounting kit, but very unlucky for me to damage the phone while docking and fell once while I was driving.

I used something like this: Easy and works great.

http://www.amazon.com/TFY-Self-Adhes.../dp/B00MNPD4Q2

Attached the scratchy side on the black plastic of the bike, and the fuzzy side to the back of my cell phone cover. Works great, can use GPS on my phone when I ride too.

Mounted this RAM on my bike about 6 months ago. Never used it. $40 + shipping if you want it. You'll need to buy another rubber mount for the stem, but I have the part number ($8 from RAM).

I was just browsing and I saw this thread. I don't think any mounts will work with my setup because I have a GPR stabilizer but I did find this post with some home depot phone mounts that looks pretty awesome and easy to make. Should work on zx6rs as well.

I custom made my own. Its a mix between the rockform fork tube mount and a ram mount. I machined out my own fork tube clamp that fits on the little bit of tube sticking up ontop of the tripple then I screwed in a ram mount ball to that. Then its just the ram X grip as others have said. So far so good! It even comes with the rubber sling for more holding power.

I bought the Ram, and it works great. Ram also sell a kit where you can mount the holder on your MC bolts.

I wanted another mount for my other bike and found an e-Bay bootleg version. I gave it a try and it works just as good as the RAM. All parts included with my RAM I spent about $70. The bootleg version cost me $15 plus the $15 for the mount bracket.

I do not remember the part number for the MC mount but this kit shows how it looks...
