In my experience each crash is different and a more expensive suit might not fair as well as one that is less expensive; or vice versa. I'm one of the custom suit horror stories, so if I had to do it again, I would buy a slightly larger off the rack suit and have the arms, legs, etc. brought in by Lizzy or Barnacle Bill. This isn't a cheap sport, and I would avoid being too cheap with gear.

The best Deals will be clearance sales etc. all the major brands have major markups like all fashion industries. I really recommend AXO gear for a combo of price and quality, their stuff looks super cool too. Especially their dirt gear
