Question Under gloves

Hey all,

I need a new pair of "under gloves" the very thin tight gloves that you can place under your riding gloves to give you a bit more warmth against chilly temps and wind when riding

I had the heat out ones that cycle gear makes. They were pure garbage, I only had them as long as I did because I had to keep burning the seams back together. Well one finally split beyond repair.

Any suggestions from experience?

Haha indeed. But the Canyons and nearby mountains are usually much colder. I get above 4000, sometimes 5000 feet which is high enough to quickly cut that 65 degree weather in half. Winter is incredible out here. You can leave San Diego where it's 65, cloudy, maybe even foggy or rainy and head out to borrego springs where it's 85 degrees and sunny, then head up the mountain into Julian where it's 30 and snow on the ground. You can do all of this within a 2 hour ride.

Buy heated gloves.

That's crazy! Kinda awesome though. If you get tired of the cold or the heat you can just say "Fuck it, I don't need shit right now. I'll drive an hour over to where the weather's completely different!" lol

I bought a full set of heated gear a couple of months ago. I wish I had don't this many years ago! I have the heated jacket liner, pant liners, boot soles, and gloves. It makes 30 degrees feel like you're sitting in your living room.

Once you have done powered gear.........

Definitely something you get what you pay for. The gloves are stellar, do everything you need them to do. But the seams on them start splitting almost immediately. I would burn the seams back together with a lighter, that's the only reason I had them as long as I did. Finally
at last track day, the whole seem on one side blew out.

Real silk glove liners! I've used them for years skiing and they are spectacular

Additionally, I did about a 10 hour ride in 40 deg weather last year and never had to stop (except for the 4 pre-planned ones) to warm up my hands
