Best led headlight

Hey guys I just got some new headlights for my 13 636. They are amazing. Completely water proof by the way. They are from Cyclops. 4000 lumens h7. The brightness is insane however that's not the impressive part. MY BEAM HAS WINGS!!! Yes that's right wings You know how the top of the beam of your headlight is a straight line? well I installed the new led lights and unexpectedly found out that my flat line turned more into a \___/ shape. When I lean into a corner I can still see what is ahead of me! If anyone can explain how that happened I would love to know why. But my friend and I both had the same experience and he rides a Honda 250L. I had assumed your beam shape is fixed to your headlight housing and can not be altered but the beam shape has changed in a very positive way on BOTH of our bikes. (I'm new to the forum so if I posted on the wrong page then I'm sorry) I'll also post pics of the new beam pattern for you guys as soon as it gets dark.

Your projector assembly was designed for a filament bulb. The filament is oriented horizontally when the bulb is fully seated.

LED assemblies don't have the same shape as that filament. You have one bright spot on each side of a circuit board. Each spot (ll) extends into a part of the space the filament would occupy..... but they both extend above and below the line of the filament. That's why there are wings.

When you turn your bars all the way left or right.....do the forks hit the fans on the LED assemblies?

The bulbs have about an inch of space. However the install was kind of tricky. You have to make two slits creating an x on the back of the headlight boot. First you take the retainer off of the light. install the retainer as if you were installing a regular bulb. then you push the headlight into the boot, plug everything in and then push the bulb in to the retainer clip and turn clockwise. The fan should be outside of the boot. On the left side (1st attempt) I managed to fit the rectifier box thing into the boot with A LOT of work however on the right side I said f-it and put the rectifier thing on the outside of the boot. If I were to install them again it would take 5 mins however I spent like a half hour trying to figure out how I wanted to do it. I forgot my phone at work yesterday so Ill post up some pics tonight of everything.
