Question Powder Coating....

Would anyone be interested in parts being powder coated?? I currently do alot of work for the members of ZX-10r.net, and thought why not offer it too 6r members also... (please feel free to check my thread on the 10R site..@ Powder Coating !!!!!!! - Kawasaki ZX-10R.net )

hey guys if anyone is needing any Powder Coating done during the winter months or whenever, Please Pm me with the details (what the parts is and color you would like) and i will get a qoute to you.... Members of ZX-10R.net will get a discount (shown).... Also if your buddys uncle can do it for a case of beer have it done there. Quality work aint Cheap or Fast!... Over 6,500 color options available..Candies,Solids,Textures,Veins,Wrinkles, Metallics,Dormants,Custom Matches.

OEM Rearsets Front and Rear... $75*-- Free Return Shipping U.S Only *Any single stage color i have in stock
OEM Swingarm $65.00+shipping
Bolts $1.00 each+shipping
OEM..Side casings $25.00/each+shipping
OEM..Rims $130/set +shipping
OEM..Calipers $29/each+shipping

All prices are for single stage (1 coat), In stock colors.... All Metallics, Dormants, Candies, and Metallic Textures MUST have a clear or base coat applied which will add 30% to above prices. For example u want rims in Candy Red price is $130 for first coat and 30% of that for second coat making total $169.

Prices DO NOT include disassemble such as calipers or bearings and rearsets all parts should be broken down completely or additional charges will be added.


Heres my process of coating.. Any questions ask away.. Any of you guys that i did work for please feel free to comment on my work...
PLEASE TO ELIMINATE TIME AND MORE $$ CLEAN YOUR PARTS B4 SHIPPING this will also allow u to inspect for damage or wear yourself... (simple degreaser or brake cleaner works fine.
1. Inspect parts for any damage
2. Degrease and check for damage again
2.1 If necessary outgas parts
3. Sandblast parts
4. Clean parts with Iron Phosphate and let dry
5. Masking
6. Coat Parts and Cure
7. Let parts cool/cure for 1 day Before handling
8. Ship completed parts back to customer.

Got a couple ??s for ya,
One: Do the bearing have to be removed when powder-coating wheels?
& two: Why all the Suzuki pics? why not some ZX10's?

Yes bearings must come out and be replaced, which I can do or have your local shop do
zuk pics are cause thats what everyone has local too me and mist recent,I will load some 10 pics ..

Nice, Very nice.
I'm going to have my rear wheel done, But the bearings might be a pain.

How durable is that to chipping from rocks/stones etc?

powder is Extremely duarable to chipping when properly applied.. some powers list there impact resistance last one I checked was at 80lbs of impact resistance.. I have yet too se a rock chip powder off....

Anything else incandescent help with just ask..

If you were in oz I would send you the frame, sub frame, swinger, wheels and all the little bits so it could be done in black.. I can get the wheels done for 25 each hear.. Can you get flat black and gloss and semi gloss powder coat? Gunna strip mine I hope over xmas

I'm in Cumberland county 1 hour from Atlantic City..
Front and rear single stage $130/set for members here normally.$160
Turn around is usually 3-days but at times its longer due.to shop load..

25 each wow I don't blame you!! Just make sure its done.correctly ask questions of there process...
I have all those colors in stock ready to be sprayed!!
