now open up your garage door opener and take it apart so your holding the cirquit board like in the following pics
now locate the button on the board that activates your door as seen in pic i am pointing to it with my pen
now there is four prongs on mine so i touched two together till the door opened i then soldered a wire each of the two prongs about a foot or two long so you have some to work with then drill a small whole for the wire to go thru and put the remote back together
now on the brake side of the bike take off the small piece of trim under the throttle side as in pic and locate the connecter that is routed along the bottom of the rear head light assembly see plug in pic
now find the white with a red stripe and brown wire on the male side of the connecter they are right next to each other in the plug
you can push them out if you release the clip look inside the connecter with a lite and you will see the little clips on them a tooth pick would prob work
now connect the two wires to the two you just took out of the connecter on the remote and hit your lap button
i then put the remote in the zip lock and taped it up so it wouldnt get wet and hooked it to the harness with some zip ties and put the bike back together
man best mod yet no more jumpin off or fumblein in your pocket or leavin it on the bike in the rain so i hope this is helpfull and it gets moved to the how to section for everyone to enjoy any questions and i can help
