Hey everyone, newbie here.. I know this probably has been asked before but I tried searching for an answer before I posted and didn't come across anything, so here's my situation..
I have a 98 zx6r that I use as a daily driver and well my cam tensioner took a dump on me! So a buddy of mine had a 95 zx6r parts bike that had a great condition tensioner in it. I know I should upgrade to manual adjustment or atleast with stock but my funds and timearent working with me. I had ended putting in my buddies tensioner since the diameter and length of the tensioners were dead on except for the actual rod part of it. I just thought id run this by you guys first before I fire up the bike and maybe make an awful mistake that costs me more money that I don't have.
