i have an issue with my 2005 636. i have pc3 and slipon akra. only sometimes i'll get a massive loss of response at like 8000rpm. it acts like i close the throttle, when i don't, and the bike lunges me onto the tank and it's really gay :-p but yesterday i took it out and rode at 8k rpm for like 20 min. and nothing happened. so is it my sensor acting funny? could it be anything else? it normally happens in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th gear. probably because by 5th or 6th i'm not hitting 8k rpm anymore? any advice is appreciated!

is the bike throwing any FI codes on the instrument dash ?

pretty much if any sensor is going bad or is malfunctioning your bike will flash a FI light. If it doesnt then its most likely something mechanical. have you replaced or adjusted anything with the clutch lately? cable, lever, perch, etc?
