Anyone with any real experience with the Metzelers?
The company seems to be making a comeback again with reliable tires.

The two that I like are the Dunlop Sportmax Q3 (now the Q3+ but haven't tired those yet) and the Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa.

On the tire subject: My ZX6R comes with Battlax S20 (not the evo). Are those good street tires, are they grippy? How many miles should I expect out of them? Are the S21s better?

Those are a spec tire that come OE........totally different than the S20 you would buy at joe's garage or the internet

S21 has slightly flatter profile and seems to last a bit longer, but "better" is relative.........

Someone previous asked about the Metzelers........ They have had the best touring tire on the market hands down since the 80's
The rest of their line up is decent........ the M7rr and Roadtec 01 are definitely a step up from the M3/M5 and their previous sport touring offerings
ZXRicky likes this.

Stupid people say stupid things on the internet, so be wary of who those people are. If you solicit advice on the internet, just keep in mind 99% of what you'll receive is not based on fact or science-and likely atleast 95% of it is based on bullshit and bravado regurgitated from some other schlub who also did not experience any of what they claim and are also full of shit. If you don't like my bluntness- too bad. I am not here to please you, so move along, your approval is not desired nor is it needed. So before opening your pie hole and adding more stupidity, perhaps sit back, listen, absorb and learn something. You know that saying, it is better to remain silent and thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt!
