But you do need some slack.
Iv been thinking of doing the zip tie mod or getting the aftermarket part. | Ive thought about it maself since I have gotten better at clipping during downshifts. It pisses me off when I go to blip and I get nothing because of the play. Then the next time i blip too much because I may not be in the play area that much.

soon to do the mod myself
after seeing thictures on the net i fully understand how this works now
I think i will take the PVC route and make a groove (if required)
After suffering a badly broken wrist (football)((Soccer for for some of you) i do not have full movement in it so this is a big requirement for me

Bit of slack in the throttle, means the cables aren't always under tension and not too tight so less chance of one snapping.
