HID Question?

I searched everywhere and could not find a legit answer, and before I spend the money I want to know for sure that this will work.

I am looking into ordering a HID kit from DDM, I know the 2011 runs H9 and H11 for our bulbs..... but instead of ordering two kits (one H9 and one H11) If I just order the dual kit with just H11, will it be compatible with my bike? I have read alot into it and like I said I can not find anything legit, does anyone else run this setup or at least know if it will work or not?

H11 is low beam..... H9 is high beam from what im tracking... so If I were to order the H11 dual kit I would be running a dual low beam, which is kind of what I want. Sure I will lose the high beam ability but I would rather run both headlights on at night without blinding oncoming drivers.

funny you ask this i was wondering the same thing..this is what my theory is on this...i asked when i got my hids about the watage differnce and all that...well when you run the hids..the watage is the same for both high and low beam....and i have my hids sitting here on the table...the lights are exactly the same size if they werent marked i couldnt tell them apart....so i think since the same watage and same size it would work ..you just wouldnt have a high beam keep your high beam switch on and youd have both low lights working..
i guess i have to order another low beam bulb so i can try this out..

Well yeah lol but I hate the one eyed look, thats why im gonna go with the 35W over the 55W at 8000K at least try my best not to be a total asshole to everyone else on the road...but then again in this city as soon as you get on the seat of the bike you instantly become invisible....so I guess it is a good thing to have blinding lights.

H9 And H11 bulbs are the same its just the metal mounting tabs is bigger on the H11.
Also dont run 55W it will eventually Melt your stock wiring harness and cause problems down the road. The only reason difference between your high beam and your low beam is a end cap that cover one of your bulbs inside the housing to regulate the beam. I myself used to ride around with my high on just becase i dont like the look of one light and idiots telling me i have a burnt bulb.....I say used to caz now i removed that end cap and my bike will now have Technically Two high beams running at all time......Yes i know people are going to Seriously hate me but get in line Lol So just order whatever set HID and if its light mine it should have a metal tab that closes on the light so it wont effect it staying in place ....did i cover everything
