Does my B1H 2005 have a slipper clutch

Hi all

Just as title says, I'm wanting to know if my 2005 B1H ZX6r has a slipper clutch?

I know what people are going to say a 2005 ZX6r is a B2H but mine was a late 2004 model but is an 05 plate so will mine have one fitted?

Also when changing down the gears it seems to not change say from 3rd downwards so i have to let the clutch out a bit then it engages the gear, very strange?

I was told to change down harder on the gear lever is this the case?

All comments appreciated

No slipper clutch fitted, and just to mention a B1H is a 2003 bikie and B2H is 2004.

With the gears it could be worn dogs on 3rd gear cog, but just check your clutch adjustment as well as thats quick and easy

there is no difference between the B1h and B2h bar colours. (even they were similar)

B1H came in Green, black and blue, the B2H came in green, blue and silver. So not much colour change tbh.

If your bike is a 2004 on a 2005 plate then it's a B2H, if it was a real 2005 then it would be a C1H.
Steve636 is 100% correct when he says that the 2003 is a B1H, 2004 is a B2H.

So if you're going to be adamant that your bike is a B1H then it's actually a 2003 bike that hasn't been registered for two years.

Trust us, we know what we're talking about

And in answer to your question, no, your bike doesn't have a slipper clutch, the earliest model was the 2005 C1H.

Remember when you used to be able to ring someone 57 times and they'd never know it was you?

Yeah. Good times.

If it's an actual 2008 bike then it's a P8F

You have a 2003 bike registered on a 2005 plate.

Not really that difficult to figure out.
