why not just change the sensor? First, you need to figure out which one you need. Is it the one on the upper butterfly plates (the sub throttle sensor) or the one on the lower plates, closer to the engine (The main tps sensor). Both are available from bike bandit, at are right around $140. I know, that's a shit load of money for a tiny little sensor, but a throttle body assembly is almost $1200 new. If you buy a used sensor, you don't know what you're getting or what sort of condition its in. Never buy electronic parts used if you want them to last.
