Bike is an 06 636.

My TPS sensor on the right hand end of the throttle body (or is it Sub Throttle position sensor?) is literally broken into two pieces.

Is there any oem sensors that will work or am I stuck buying one from the stealership/getting a used throttle body?

I know some Honda motorcycle's use the same TPS as the Honda civic.

why not just change the sensor? First, you need to figure out which one you need. Is it the one on the upper butterfly plates (the sub throttle sensor) or the one on the lower plates, closer to the engine (The main tps sensor). Both are available from bike bandit, at are right around $140. I know, that's a shit load of money for a tiny little sensor, but a throttle body assembly is almost $1200 new. If you buy a used sensor, you don't know what you're getting or what sort of condition its in. Never buy electronic parts used if you want them to last.

It is the one on the end of the throttle bodies, on the right hand side when sitting on the bike.

Edit: looked it up in the manual. It is the subthrottle sensor.

The reason I don't want to buy it from bikebandit is I hate spending $140 on a $5 part. Plus I dont have a huge budget to rebuild the bike with.

Theres a set of throttle bodies for an 03/04 on ebay for 100 bucks.
