ok sorry it took so long to get back on here. Been busy with vacation and race truck. Ok anyway come to find out it was the fuel pump that was getting hot and losing pressure. Got a used one off ebay for $45 (great deal) and it straightened everything out for about maybe 2 months then back to the same ole shit. Going to order a new pump.

Is there any pros to the 09 pump or just same thing as the 07-08?

Back when I had my dead spot at 14,000 rpm it was my coil. And I had a bad idle. I tried the pump first, thats why I have an 09 pump. |

Street Hawk- My idle is smooth and short rides the bike does fine. Only when i push it hard and ride a while does it start going down hill. If i stop and turn it off or turn it off going down the road for a few sec (going down the road) it will run great again. I have seen it in cars and trucks pump gets hot vehicle runs bad, seems like the same case to me. Dont know the mileage of the last used pump i put in it but it lasted for awhile.
Asesino- It runs the same when it full or on e. Not having any over heating problems just a lil drop in fuel mileage.
