yes they will work, the angle might be slightly different or something. I used a 08 set on a 05 zx636. the linkage might be a little different too

Update:
An 07/08 ZX6R left rear set (shift pedal & peg) WILL fit a 2009-2012 ZX6r.
A buddy of mine had an 08 ZX6R and had the left rear set laying around, he gave it to me and it was a perfect fit, everything was in alignment. I just had to paint it black since it was gray.
**NOTE**
This is for the left rear set, I can't speak for the right side.
Ride safe.

Rearset spacing has been the same since 05-present, 85mm to be exact. Before that they were 80mm.

On the right side 05-08 are the same, but in 09 they changed the angle of the rear brake master cylinder. Before it was pretty straight up and down, after it is at almost a 45 degree angle forward.

I'm inferring from that thread that going from 05-08 sets to 09+ will require a longer line and 09+ down to 05-08 will be fine with a stock or shorter line
