My understanding that powder coating is the best way to go.

Powder coating will last alot longer. If you change your own tires without a tire changer machine I say get them powder coated. Paint will get chipped when changing your own tires and you will get pissed at yourself. I speak from experience. LOL. Thats all I have to say. Or you can let Mark paint them and it will be good. |

the wheels have been painted now for a good 2 to 3 years and still look as good as the day i painted them
but yes if you are going to paint them dont go to the rim and they will look dandy for years

Revived...
Powder Coating is Far Superior than paint in this application..
When done correctly Pc will remain intake for many years to come..
Simple upkeep and no worries about chemicals removing it such as brake fluid/degreasers/gas.. none of thise will phase powder coating...
I hace a thread in the group buy section "Powder Coating"

Had my rims on my 06 powder coated at a place in sheffield, maybe not so far from you? Good finish and very durable so far, wouldn't do it another way other than pc.

Powder coat! Way strong, paint will chip off way too easy during tire changes! I want to have mine done too but havent found anyone I trust yet!
