Like it! I love the "I was watching Salt and realised there must be something better I could be doing with my life" too
Was it an easy enough job?

LOL!! It wasn't that bad of a movie but I put it on cause I felt a bit bored.
Yes it was a much easier job than I expected. I had put off doing it because I thought more was involved. This is a bolt on affair. You'll spend more time with the wiring than mounting the projectors. Once it is installed you can still use the stock methods for aligning and you are golden!
I highly recommend this. I see much better at night, no more " you've got a head light out mate!" statements!
I've you're thinking of do it I suggest doing it.

It looks like a whole new bike. I did the same thing to my bike but I also have the halos. I also suggest doing this also. Night time riding is so much safer.

Hey, I would also like to do this to my bike... Where did you get the light and how did you remove the solenoid?

From this website: Bi-xenon: Morimoto Mini H1 4.1 - HID Projectors from The Retrofit Source Inc
They are the morimoto mini. You'll need H1 HIDs.
How did I remove which solenoid?

Baked it in the oven @200 for 15 min. Use a flat head and flip back the tabs and gently pry and it will come off pretty easy.

Ok, I have a busted light so I'll see if that'll work. And the morimoto... What kind did you buy? And how much did it costs? And is it all just plug and play?

I got mine off eBay for like $200. They are bi xenon and they come with halos built into the projectors. It comes with everything you need to install and ride. I hooked up my halos as my daytime running lights but you can have them wired up to a toggle or rocker switch. It comes with instructions and you can choose I think between 6000k and 8000k for the hids and there are a bunch of colors you can choose for the halos. Just search zx6r projectors in eBay. You can also google images.
