Hey guys,
I'm new to this forum (formal R1 rider) and happy to return to Kwak bikes
I own a 2006 ZX-6R for track use only, I have some questions that I couldn't resolve via google so....here I am.
First of all, Is it possible to use a 2007 aftermarket Slip-On on my 2006? I think the canister's the same but I worried about the link pipe...
Second, Can I install a 2007 tail on my 2006?
If anybody has any suggestion for making my bike more track fit it would be great.

i think it is possible. you just need a fabricator to do it for you. personally, i would get down n derty myself.

i made a 07 two bros pipe and link pipe work but i am a welder in my free time lol here is a pic of what i did and how it looks.

cut a re-leaf and welded:

i still want to shorten it about 2 inches and paint it high temp black with red accents then i will be fully happy with my creation.

one thing you'll want to do while you have the muffler out is to use some adhesive heat shielding tape and plaster the undertail piece with it, shiny side toward the muffler. The heat doesn't vent out from the tail and will wipe out your ECU and CDI after prolonged hi-rev sessions such as track riding.

Anyway, I'm from Israel but since we don't have a racetrack here I'm flying to Serres, Greece in order to race so I don't have the time to start messing with welding and stuff so I guess I'll buy a Slip-On designed for my bike, I just don't understand why it has to stick out ?? Does the guy designing then is blind ??
I think the Muzzy Oval is the best choice for me as it seems shorter then the others. Does anyone has any thought of the Muzzy? I can also buy the RS-5 but I can use it as a wheelie stopper as well (its sooooo long) so I'm leaning towards the Muzzy.
Also, is there a GP style exhaust for for my 06'? I found Motowerkz (or something like that) slip-on but some people said that it wasn't that good...is it?

Almost forgot, Can anyone PLEASE tell me the weight difference between the stock muffler and aftermarket (if you know please mention difference between all 3 options, SS, CF, TI), THANKS!!!
