FI light staying on

My friend's 09 has thrown up a problem. He has always had the FI light on ever since we changed the can. We always assumed it was because there was no resistance on the servo. The bike also has a PCV with autotune meaning that the 02 sensor has been removed and an 02 eliminator put on.

We have just put a servo buddy on expecting the FI light to go out but it stayed on. The bike runs fine so we don't think it is anything else. It's not a faulty servo buddy as we tried the one from my bike which works.

I am thinking the 02 eliminator is faulty but wondered if anyone might have other suggestions.

I'm pretty sure the service manual for the 09 is on the site, so use it to find out which code it is throwijng up and if it is the o2 sensor you have your answer, also clear all the codes after reading them.

Don't know, clear them and find out. If it does come back you know you have a fault for sure then.
