I have that D2Moto light on my '08... its bright and nicely made. The connections fit a little loose - plan to tape everything tight so you don't have to take the tail off again in a year (me)!

I mounted mine between the rear pegs - fits perfect, but slightly offset to the right side. Simply took an L bracket and bent the angle in further to match the undertail.

When do they do that? And where do you get one?

Nevermind, I did it. Placed my order. Hopefully I can get it to work somewhat like how you have it done. Is it completely legal for the license plate to be like what you got going on? And did you buy a sideways mount for it or did you make something?
