Hi everyone. My 1998 zx6r stalls when i pull in clutch when slowing down. Revs completely die. i suspect it may be the fuel pump - any views or ideas would be welcome!

dose it idle when u start it in the morning or is it only happening when u ride if its only when u ride it could be the kill switch on the stand

Thanks very much - nice to meet you too. It does idle altho not particularly smoothly. Stand kill switch is a possibilty, but I would have thought this would cut the engine out whenever I disengage clutch. It seems to happen when I'm breaking hard and not changing down smoothly through the gears.

maybe your idle is set too low?

+1 mine did the same thing I just adjusted the idle. when I was coming to a stop and pulled in my clutch I noticed the idle went really low like around 500 rpm so I just adjusted the idle a little higher. mine bike is suppose to idle around 1300rpm and it was low.

Thanks for your advice. My bike idles at about 1400 rpm which I think should be fine. If I adjust the idle up, the engine races like hell when I shift gears up
