I am looking for some help.
Would anyone be willing to send a piece of PVC to my APO box?
I do not have easy access to pipe ( no homo) , or a band saw.
Of course the pipe would have to be cut to size already.
I ride a 09-11.
In return I will send a money order to cover the shipping and such.
Anyone interested?

if you take apart your throttle, you'll see where the throttle cables connect to the barrel. I need a small piece of PVC that will fit around the barrel. Alternative to the zip tie mod
Thats what I'm trying to do^

Why don't you want to use a zip tie though. it works!

If I remember correctly 1 1/4" is what I used. It measured roughly 1 1/2, but after you cut out the section for the cable hookups it snaps over the tube perfect.
If dash can't get it I'll try to find the left over piece from mine. PM me if you need it.

Farmboy said it should be an 1 1/4" pipe
I just need a sliver off the end. 1/4"

I tried this last night and ended up reverting back to stock. Before I changed anything I measured the stock throttle rotation with a protractor and I got 70 degrees of turn. With one strip of ziptie it only dropped it to 65 degrees and with two strips doubled up it only brought it down to 60 degrees. Not nearly as significant of a reduction as I had hoped. Also with two strips I had to loosen the cable adjustment completely to full loose as the added thickness of the zipties took up all the slack. I guess that's why the Motion Pro kit also comes with new cables. I assume with much greater adjustment. So, I just decided to take the zipties back off and go with the stock setup.

Haven't measured mine with a protractor, but it made a noticeable difference in the throttle throw to me. I'll check it when I get home.
