So I wrecked about 4 months ago and put my bike all back together, which i know would widen the range of things that might be wrong, and now when I accelerate quickly in about the 12k-14k range it kind of jerks like its not getting enough fuel and rpms drop and then as soon as i let off its fine.
I'm thinking it could be one of these problems: 1.The fuel lines to the injectors may be loose (not likely, but possible) 2.The map in the PC isnt giving the bike enough fuel (I have the the stock map w/ slip on) 3.I did the jumper mod when putting it back together 4.I did the FI light fix (home made servo buddy) and fabricated my own board (maybe soldered something together wrong as the light flicks on and off at random times and when i rev it up it goes away)
I looked at the map last night and it looks like it (i may not know how to read it) is telling it less fuel at the 12500 rpm mark?
please help any input is appreciated

if you still have the servo try putting it back in and see if you still get it. thats a way to eliminate that as a possibility.

Right but if you wired something wrong it could be effecting something along the line. Its a quick easy thing to check to mark that off the list of possibilities.

Check your vent lines on the tank, your experiencing fuel starvation, which happens a lot from vapor lock. Basically the air inside the tank cant vent and creates pressure in the tank making it impossible for the pump to pull the full amount of gas. Also run some seafoam through it a couple times

I took it all apart and the fuel pump sat for a couple weeks while the tank was getting painted. In checking the vent line(s) (i only thought there was one on my bike) im guessing im checking for blockages?
Sometimes whenever Ive ridden for a while and come to a stop with the bike off I can hear air forcing its way through the gas cap, but it did this before and didn't seem to effect anything.

Open the gas tank next time and go for a ride, see if it still cuts power, if it doesnt then its not vapor lock. But that doenst mean there isnt a fuel issue. check your gas line filter and see if there is any shit in it
Who painted it? If anything got in the tank and sucked it through its probably clogging something

A friend of mine painted it. I don't think there was any debris or paint in the tank as i was the one who removed the "plugs" after it was painted and it looked like there hadnt been any paint that seeped past it.

i found this thread: 07 zx6r High Rpm bogging issue : Kawasaki ZX Forums: Kawasaki Ninja Forum
it seems like it could be more than i thought
ok so im going to run through this as i go
1.kinked fuel line
2.jumper mod
3.servo eliminator mod
4.fuel filter clogged up
5.air pressure in tank
6.fuel pump is losing power (bad connection)
7.clogged injector
8.defective stator (same one i wrecked with)
9.voltage regulator
10.battery (tested and seems to have little charge left but still works)
11.coils
12.Spark plugs (just replaced)

Ok so I eliminated a few things tonight
2.Jumper mod
3.Servo eliminator mod
12.spark plugs
6.fuel pump is losing power (bad connection)
10.battery
so that leaves
1.kinked fuel line
5.air pressure in tank
7.clogged injector
8.defective stator
9.voltage regulator
11.coils
13.clogged fuel pump
I won't get a chance to try anything else until wednesday and i did pick up some seafoam so ill try that as well, but i really think it has something to do with the fuel pump or the map
DOES ANYONE HAVE A LOT OF EXPERIENCE WITH MAPS ?? I need to know if the map is correct, not bike specific, just need to make sure because i looked at it and its shows negatives right around the same rpms i am bogging down at

sounds to me like the vacuums may be out of sink or may not be opening fast enough when you accelerate this would cause the airflow in the bike to not be enough when giving it that much gas .... just a thought im not sure but worth checking out

They all worked fine before why would they be malfunctioning now?

Also this only happens when I have been riding my bike for a while. Maybe after enough trash in the tank collects and clogs the fuel pump?

Ok so last night I got some time to work on my bike. I removed the tank and then the fuel pump and took a flashlight and looked in the tank. There was a paint flake the size of a dime! So i got an old (clean) shirt and taped it to the bottom of a 2 liter bottle and dumped the gas in after many "swishings". There wasn't much debris, but there was some as well as that giant flake. I then bought some seafoam and poured a little in and swished it around and dumped it. I put it all back together and went and got some gas. At about the half way line i poured 1/3 of the seafoam stuff in and then added more gas almost filling it. Road around for about 30 minutes and then got on it (full throttle 1st, 2nd gear) and it isn't bogging down anymore, but im not so sure the problem is gone. Im going to ride it today for longer after work and see if it is still bog free. Definitely needs a tune though as it runs a little crummy in the low rpms, but no backfire/after fire.
so if the problem isnt fixed I have eliminated the following:
2.jumper mod
3.servo eliminator mod
4.fuel filter clogged up
6.fuel pump is losing power (bad connection)
7.clogged injector
10.battery (tested and seems to have little charge left but still works)
12.Spark plugs (just replaced)
13.clogged fuel pump
and here is what is left of the possible problems:
1.kinked fuel line
5.air pressure in tank
8.defective stator (same one i wrecked with)
9.voltage regulator
11.coils
