I've scrolled forums for over 3 hours now trying to search for the answer for this little question.
Does an aftermarket exhaust MUFFLER make your bike run lean ?
I clipped an Yoshi RS5 to my '06 Kawasaki and my idle rpm runs around 1000 rpm after warming up. (I adjusted the idle speed from the thingy from the left side to normal).
People keep talking about the backpressure that the butterfly valve makes and I have resolved the whole FI light thing with the metal plate that came with the muffler.
So once again: Does changing only the MUFFLER harm/make my bike run too lean?

I think some silencers can make it run lean, some after market silencers state if it doesnt need to be set up(dyno'd) usually the ones that dont tell ya usually end up needing to be tuned on the bike with a custom map or rejetting, thats just my opinion im sure people will agree and disagree
