Have not checked to see what it is for the ZX6R but my shim kit was originally bought for a 2004 FZ6 and has been used on a CBR600RR and a Honda Metropolitan scooter! The shim kit is a HotCams from Ron Ayers 7.48MM OD 1.20MM to 3.50MM in 0.05MM increments. Looked in the manual for shim OD but did not see it - may have overlooked it.
They are all the same really. I think I would just order the latest year model CBR shms, or if you go with Yamaha shims, get the latest year model R6 shims. Yamaha are cheaper than Kawasaki, but more expensive than Honda.
Don't void your warranty by using competitors parts... :lol
I kid, I kid!
